The Mandiri Financial Center, an architectural masterpiece designed by Alien Design Consultant in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2, officially broke ground on Friday, October 4, 2024.
The ceremony was led by Indonesia’s Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Erick Thohir, along with Bank Mandiri President Director, Darmawan Junaidi, marking the beginning of this modern financial hub development, which will be an integral part of the Jakarta metropolitan area.
Spanning a building area of 12,389 square meters, the project incorporates innovative design principles tailored to meet the needs of modern banking and the surrounding community.
Strategically Located in PIK 2’s Independent City
Located on Jalan Letjen S Parman, PIK 2, Tangerang, the project is part of the massive PIK 1 extension development, set to become a self-sustaining city. Situated approximately 30 km from Jakarta’s SCBD, PIK 2 is designed to be a new economic and Central Business District (CBD) in northern Jakarta. This location will feature extensive public facilities and a complete transportation network, offering significant growth potential for the area.
Zoning and Accessibility
Mandiri Financial Center is located within the Sedayu Watertown district, which is predominantly commercial and features a variety of functional spaces. With access to three vehicle lanes, the site offers excellent accessibility for both vehicles and pedestrians. Additionally, its proximity to public transportation routes enhances its connectivity, further increasing the value of the project.

The design is inspired by the transformation of Bank Mandiri’s identity, resulting in an iconic structure that aligns with the local character of PIK 2. The innovative geometric shapes and architecture create a modern ambiance that reflects the brand and values of Bank Mandiri, delivering a visually striking and contextual design.
2. Green & Adaptive
In response to today’s environmental challenges, Mandiri Financial Center will feature advanced green building technologies. This ensures that the facility is not only modern and efficient but also sustainable, meeting the demands of timeless banking while prioritizing environmental responsibility.
3. Inclusive & Integrated
The project emphasizes social inclusivity by creating spaces that are welcoming to all members of society. The integrated design fosters social cohesion, in line with Bank Mandiri’s commitment to building relationships with the public.
The ‘Mandiri Reef’ Concept
At the heart of this project lies the ‘Mandiri Reef’ concept, inspired by coral reefs that serve as communal habitats for marine life. Just as reefs support diverse ecosystems, the Mandiri Financial Center aims to become a hub of interaction and collaboration, offering an environment that nurtures its users.
